What roofing and siding involves
A roof and the siding under it are what keep the rest of the house dry, so most of the value in this work sits in the parts nobody sees. Ice and water shield at the eaves and in the valleys, proper flashing at chimneys, side walls and skylights, and ventilation that actually moves air through the attic.
We install asphalt shingle roofs, standing seam metal and flat roofing systems, on houses and on commercial buildings. On siding we work in vinyl, fiber cement, engineered wood and cedar, with the housewrap, trim, soffit, fascia and gutters that go with it.
Tear off and replacement is the bulk of what we do. We strip to the deck, replace any sheathing that has gone soft and photograph what we find before it is covered back up. A repair is worth doing when the rest of the roof still has life in it, and we will tell you plainly which of the two situations you are in.

Inspection and photos
We get on the roof, photograph what is there and show you the condition before quoting.

Tear off and repair
The old roof comes off, soft sheathing is replaced and the deck is dried in the same day.

Install and clean up
The new system goes on, then the yard and driveway get swept with a magnet for nails.
