What decks and interior renovation involves
This is the work that comes up when a house is sound but tired. Outside that means decks, railings, stairs, patios, paver walkways and fencing. Inside it means flooring, carpentry, trim, doors, built ins and paint.
On decks we build in composite and in pressure treated and cedar framing, with aluminum, composite or wood railing. Railings, stairs, deck lighting and privacy screening can go on a new deck or be added to one that is already there. Where the town requires a permit for the deck, we pull it and book the framing inspection.
Inside, built in cabinetry, panelled walls, fireplace surrounds, stair parts and trim are the jobs that change a room the most. Flooring, doors and interior paint finish the room. We lay out the deck or the room with you first, price it, and finish with a walkthrough once the work is done.
