Will I be without a kitchen the whole time?

No. The stretch without a sink and a range is shorter than the job itself, and we tell you when it starts and roughly how long it runs so you can set up a temporary kitchen somewhere else in the house.

Do you handle the plumbing and electrical, or do I hire that?

We handle it. Licensed plumbers and electricians work under our contract and we book the inspections.

Do I need architectural plans before I call you?

No. If you already have drawings we will work from them. If you do not, we can bring in an architect and a structural engineer and start from a conversation about what you want.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes. We pull the permits and schedule the inspections as part of the job, and we tell you where the project stands at each sign off.

What kitchen and bathroom remodeling involves

Kitchens and bathrooms are the two rooms where the work behind the wall matters as much as the finish on it. A gut kitchen means new plumbing and electrical to code, sometimes a wall coming out and a beam going in, and it means getting the layout right before a single cabinet is ordered. A bathroom means waterproofing done properly under the tile, because a shower leaking into the ceiling below is the most expensive kind of callback there is.

We take on full gut renovations and smaller updates. Cabinetry, quartz and granite counters, tile, lighting, vanities and fixtures, along with the plumbing and electrical work behind all of it. Where a wall comes out we bring in a structural engineer and carry the load properly rather than guessing at it.

Cabinet and stone lead times drive most kitchen schedules, so we settle the layout and order early, and give you a date range you can plan around.
