What commercial renovations involves
Commercial work runs on a different clock than a house. The building is usually open, the tenant needs to trade, and the schedule has to fit around business hours and whatever the landlord allows. We take on retail and office buildouts, ground up commercial construction, and renovation to space that is already in use.
The work covers interior demolition, framing, storefront and facade repair, masonry, concrete flatwork, roofing, mechanical and electrical coordination, ceilings, flooring and finishes. Where a change touches structure we work with the building's engineer or bring in our own. We also handle the commercial permit and inspection process, which is a heavier lift than a residential permit and usually wants stamped drawings.
We are registered in Connecticut as a Demolition Contractor and for lead services, which matters on older commercial buildings where the paint and the plaster predate the rules covering both.
